Online Pharmacies Offer Convenience and Privacy
 by: Michael P. Connelly

I experienced an extremely embarrassing moment in public the other day that I hope to never experience again. It was the kind of moment that can crush a person’s confidence and send them rushing for cover mentally. It was one of those moments that makes the classic nightmare of going to school in your underwear look like a pleasant occasion.

I am a grown man and I was always taught that grown men cannot run from their problems, so when I recently discovered that I was having problems living up to my end of the bargain in bed with my wife, I had to accept that I was not the young buck I used to be many years ago. Many men over forty experience this problem and there are many solutions to it. Most of these solutions include some sort of prescription pharmaceutical drug that needs to be purchased at a pharmacy. A trip to the doctor’s office for a prescription of Viagra or Cialis followed by a trip to the pharmacy and you are on your way to feeling twenty-five again when asked to perform sex.

Helping Your Immune System Win The War Against Disease

January 14, 2008

Just as our country is currently engaged in a war against covert terrorism, your immune system is similarly waging a constant war against the hidden enemies within your body.

This war started before you were born and it will continue until you die. Although it’s a war that always ends in defeat, there’s a lot you can do to markedly postpone that ultimate defeat and to maintain a state of vibrant health into advanced old age.

These enemies of your immune system include well over 400 toxins ingested from the food you eat, the water you drink, and the air you breathe, along with a multitude of bacteria, viruses, and mutated cancer cells. Increasingly, it has to deal with particularly aggressive bacteria that have developed resistance to most, if not all, antibiotics.

It is also being challenged by a host of new viruses, including HIV, SARS, West Nile, ever-changing strains of influenza that now bear the threat of a world-wide pandemic. Never in the history of our species has it been more important to have a very strong, well-functioning immune system.

Stutter Treatments

Stutter Treatments
 by: Steve Hill

In this article I am going to explain some of the stutter treatments which are available. My name is Steve Hill and I myself have overcome a stutter problem, which ruined my life for eighteen years.

Speech therapy is the normal course of therapy people who stutter try. In my opinion this is useful, however has limited power as the therapists themselves do not believe a stutter can be overcome. They are therefore merely helping people cope and from my own personal experience the main advice given, is to slow down when talking and to take a deep breath before speaking. People who are fluent do not all speak slowly and rarely do I hear them inhale a deep breath before speaking.

Hypnotherapy is another form of stutter therapy. Success is no doubt largely dependant on the quality of the hypnotherapist involved. In my opinion having a stutter is not only an emotional problem but also a physical problem and that hypnotherapy only deals with the emotional side.

Lessons on Fitness from Olympic Athletes
 by: Marjorie Geiser

We just experienced the 20th Season of the Olympic Winter games. It is always fun to watch the athletes challenge themselves in feats above what the rest of us do. As I watched the skiers fly down the mountain at an average speed of 65 mph, I especially appreciated all the training and work they have committed themselves to in order to get to this point in their lives.

No matter what ranking they each come home in, they have all accomplished a feat that many of us will only know by watching them on TV. They have pushed themselves to the point of sometimes wondering why they are doing it. They push themselves so hard that at times they feel like just sitting down and crying, or giving up. But, because they have a unique spirit of competition -with themselves, with others - they will not settle for quitting or giving up.

Wow.

But what can you learn from these elite athletes to help YOU achieve greater fitness?

Raise Your Life Standards and Raise Your Health

Raise Your Life Standards and Raise Your Health
 by: Dr Edward Steiner

When Oprah Winfrey was interviewed by the legendary US television reporter Barbara Walters she was asked “what’s the reason you put yourself on the line week after week, year after year, on the cutting edge of human emotion?” Oprah replied “Teaching people to take responsibly. I believe the secret to life is to take responsibility, once people grasp that I believe everything in their life changes. Once people understand it and live it, they are at cause for their life rather than living in effect and in reaction.”

Public issues aside most people agree Bill Clinton was a very charismatic leader. Yet by his own admission in his autobiography he talks about painful acts in his childhood, anger and emotion that drove him to a better life. He hit a level of threshold where he was finally dissatisfied enough with his life to make changes. He was literally propelled forward to improve his life, and dream, and apply and learn the tools and strategies to assist himself and those around him. It’s up to us to make a decision, to release all our negative emotions, to live in the present and to move into the future with improvement. The best thing about the past is that it’s over.

How To Have A Healthy Thanksgiving

End of the year holidays are a time when our eyes are often bigger than our stomach! Many of us wonder how we will get through them without gaining 5 or 10 pounds. So how can you feel great after parties and meals instead of overstuffed and uncomfortable?

Your stomach cannot miraculously hold more food just because it’s the holidays.

First, remember that the amount of food your stomach can hold did not change between yesterday and today. Remember how uncomfortable you feel after you have eaten too much and how long it takes to start feeling better again.

Do you want to be able to enjoy your food, and enjoy your time after eating as well?

Smaller portions, lot’s of variety

If there’s a lot of food that you want to try, serve yourself smaller portions. This way you can get a variety of everything.

Chew your food and eat slowly. Savor!

Migraine headaches are different then a standard stress or tension headache. You can describe headaches in groups or primary and secondary group types

Headaches are described as being either primary or secondary.

Primary headaches include migraine, cluster headache, chronic daily headache, tension-type headache, and medication overuse headache

Secondary headaches are can be a symptom of something else like a sinus infection or a side effect of an illness or stress.

Migraine being a primary headache would not surprise most people, especially anyone who has ever suffered from one.

Mosquito Products. Are They Safe For Our Health ?

Mosquito Products. Are They Safe For Our Health ?
 by: Raul Gallu

There are plenty of mosquito products we can use to get rid of these nasty insects. Some of them are effective some are not. I guess we all own one of these mosquito products at home, but have you ever wondered how they work or are they hazardous for you health? So lets see what kind of mosquito products are out there and how safe they are.

Mosquito products could be classified in two categories based on their purpose. So there are in the first category are the mosquito products that kill the insects and in the second one we’ve got the products that repels mosquitoes. The products grouped in these two categories there are indoor and outdoor mosquito products.

To understand how these mosquito products work we must understand what attracts mosquitoes. So when humans and animals exhale, they give off CO2 (carbon dioxide) and other scents. Mosquitoes have sensors that can detect the presence of these chemicals at a distance of over 100 feet. Once the mosquito picks up the scent, they will immediately change direction and fly rapidly toward the intended victim. So the purpose of mosquito products would be either to attract and kill the insect or to deceive its senses.

Supplement Right to Boost Your Energy

Supplement Right to Boost Your Energy
 by: Dr Edward Steiner

In today’s polluted society is very taxing on the body. While the body benefits exceptionally from fruit and vegetables, to cope with all the chemicals around us the body needs specific supplements.

Most supplements turn into very expensive urine. This is a very important point. Carbon dioxide, exhaust fumes, putrid invisible gases and boron (a chemical that leaks into buildings from bricks) poison our bodies on a daily basis. We need extra support to counter this.

Want to know how to counteract all the wastes the body has to take in? Chlorophyll is the substance that causes the green coloration in plants and vegetables. It is similar to hemoglobin in the blood except for one molecule. Green vegetables, especially leafy greens, shoot the highest energetic nutrients into the body.
